Janet Legge

Deputy Chief Executive
Association of Corporate Treasurers

Janet Legge is the Deputy Chief Executive of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT). Previously ACT’s Director of Awarding Body, she has worked in the education sector for over 15 years with leading awarding bodies such as City & Guilds and Pearson. She has extensive experience of qualification design and development and assessment delivery, but her passion lies in strategy and innovation and delivering optimal changes for her teams and the organisation. Since coming to the ACT, she has focused on delivering an updated and relevant qualification suite and robust and sustainable online-invigilated assessments, recently moving many of them to on-demand to provide flexibility. Following COVID-19, she has supported a number of other professional bodies with online assessment delivery.  Lately, she has rolled out digital credentials to the ACT community and works with partner learning organisations, such as FutureLearn and others, to extend the reach of treasury qualifications to a wider market and support the rapidly developing need for ESG courses and qualifications.

Janet has a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, from Rhodes University in South Africa and a Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).
