Gareth Kingston
Head of Professional Development, Chartered Quality Institute
Gareth has worked for membership bodies of one form or another since 1994. He cut his teeth working for students’ unions before moving into the membership sector as the Head of Membership Services at Advice UK. After a stint with an environmental grant making charity Gareth returned to the world of membership first as a consultant, then as a manager of a community partnership, and for six years as a Membership and Marketing manager at the Royal College of Surgeons. Gareth joined the Chartered Quality Institute in 2016 as Head of Membership, and in 2022 took on the challenge of creating a new team at the CQI as Head of Professional Development.
