Lauren Branston

Lauren Branston is CEO of the Institute of Business Ethics (IBE), a trusted partner for ethical leadership. The IBE draws on 40 years of experience to offer modern insight, discreet advisory services, leadership development and convening power, helping organisations not just respond to ethical challenges but lead with integrity and purpose.

Lauren brings deep expertise at the intersection of ethics, communications, strategy, sustainability, and leadership. She has advised senior leaders across FTSE 100, Fortune 500, non-profit and professional services firms, helping to shape purpose-led cultures and guide complex decision-making.  Before joining the IBE, Lauren led a strategic advisory practice and held senior roles in global companies across sectors, including professional services, consumer goods, and communications.

Today she actively contributes to several governance and ethics bodies, including the Financial Reporting Council’s Stakeholder Insight Group and UCL’s Centre for Ethics and Law Advisory Panel, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Soil Association.  A respected voice on ethical leadership, Lauren regularly lectures and speaks on business ethics, advocacy, culture, and corporate responsibility.
