Are you a strategic and hands-on marketing leader willing to travel and ready to shape the voice of a globally respected organisation? This is a unique opportunity to lead marketing for an international membership body that champions safety, standards, and professionalism across a specialist technical industry.

As Head of Marketing, you’ll report to the Director of Membership and collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and execute an ambitious global marketing strategy. Your work will enhance the organisation’s visibility, grow membership and training uptake, and build a trusted brand that speaks on behalf of industry professionals worldwide.

This is a dynamic and varied role that blends strategic oversight with campaign delivery. You’ll lead integrated, multi-channel marketing initiatives to promote training programmes, events, and member engagement. Key campaigns include flagship conferences, awareness days, and regional workshops.

You’ll be a confident brand steward, able to craft compelling messaging that resonates with technical audiences, policy makers, and stakeholders. You’ll also help translate member insights into powerful advocacy narratives that influence government and regulatory conversations. International travel will also be a key part of this role (Australia/NZ, SE Asia, Middle East, etc.).

Key requirements:

  • Proven track record in leading multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Strong campaign planning and execution skills
  • Experience developing brand voice and identity
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as social media, email marketing platforms, and design software (e.g. Canva)
  • Comfortable working in a standalone or small team environment

Desirable:

  • Experience in membership bodies, trade associations, or not-for-profit organisations
  • Background in technical, industrial, or compliance-focused sectors
  • Familiarity with advocacy or policy-related communications
