Mark Easton is BBC News Home Editor, an award-winning broadcaster and writer who appears regularly on television, radio and online.
Mark’s role is to provide expert analysis and broad perspective on the issues and stories affecting modern Britain, chronicling the impact of rapid demographic, technological, economic and global change.
He has won several awards for his television documentaries and news reports, including the mental health award ‘Mind Champion of the Year’ and Royal Statistical Society awards for statistical excellence in 2009 and 2010. His BBC blog was a finalist at the prestigious international Online Journalism Awards in San Francisco. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.
