Association of British Neurologists (ABN)
Emily joined the Association of British Neurologists (ABN) in January 2024 as Executive Director. ABN has over 2000 members, comprising mainly consultant and trainee neurologists. The Association’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of people with neurological conditions by advancing the knowledge and practice of neurology in the UK.
From 2015-2024, Emily was Executive Director of the University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES). With over 14 years in the not-for-profit membership sector, she is an experienced charity leader with a passion for ensuring members’ interests are championed. She has worked across a range of functions including membership management, events management and publishing.
Emily moved to the membership sector following a more academic focus earlier in her career and holds a PhD in Shakespeare Studies from the University of Birmingham.
