Association for Project Management – CRM Project Team
The CRM Project Team at APM successfully delivered one of the most complex projects in the organisation’s history. Over two and a half years, they introduced a new CRM system that streamlined operations, reduced technical debt by 85%, and improved efficiency across 14 business capabilities. The project brought together staff from all levels, suppliers, and board champions, creating a collaborative environment built on resilience and shared ownership. Their open communication, cross-departmental working, and adaptability ensured high levels of engagement throughout.
The result is a system that improves stability, enhances reporting, and positions APM for long-term growth and operational success.
Association of Business Mentors – Whole Team
The Association of Business Mentors team has transformed the organisation over the past 15 months through inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration. Facing membership and revenue challenges, they redefined strategy to highlight the role of mentoring in business growth and wellbeing. Key initiatives included the UK’s first research report on business mentoring, a new inclusive membership pathway, professional training courses, and a refreshed website and CRM. These efforts secured new partnerships, boosted engagement, and attracted significant government recognition.
Their commitment has positioned ABM as a leader in the mentoring profession, strengthened member value, and created a foundation for sustainable future growth.
Building Engineering Services Association – Marketing Team
The BESA Group Marketing Team has redefined its role, transforming into a high-performing, agile function that delivers measurable value across the organisation. By introducing new roles, embracing digital tools, and embedding collaboration, they have supported membership growth, improved retention, and increased engagement across seven group companies. Their impact includes a 92% retention rate, ecommerce growth, and stronger digital presence, achieved while saving costs through in-house innovation. Alongside strategic campaigns and events, the team has also championed inclusivity and culture change.
Their collaborative approach has strengthened BESA’s visibility, enhanced member experience, and created a model for marketing as a driver of growth.

Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine – Communications Team
FPM’s Communications Team has played a vital role in delivering the organisation’s strategy by driving engagement, visibility, and income growth. Their campaigns have supported record Fellowship applications, boosted training and event participation, and enhanced global reach through innovative digital content. The team has strengthened collaboration across departments, amplifying voices from members and stakeholders while promoting diversity and inclusion in clinical trials and research. With website traffic, social media reach, and email engagement all showing strong growth, their work has delivered measurable results.
Through creativity, responsiveness, and teamwork, the Communications Team has become a core enabler of FPM’s success.

Fire Industry Association – Smart AI Team (entered by Smartimpact)
The FIA Smart AI Team embraced a bold challenge: boosting productivity by 25% without increasing headcount. Working collaboratively across all departments, the team embedded smartAI tools into daily practice, creating a culture of innovation and shared learning. Their efforts saved 1,500 working days annually, cut training development time from 30 days to four, and supported record membership growth and training delivery. The transformation was not just technical but cultural, with staff becoming champions of change and cross-department collaboration.
By rethinking processes together, the team unlocked new capacity, boosted morale, and strengthened FIA’s ability to serve members and advance fire safety.

Royal Entomological Society – Staff Team
The Royal Entomological Society’s staff team has delivered wide-reaching impact through collaboration, agility, and strategic focus. Guided by their 2022–2025 strategy, they have grown global membership by 47%, expanded publishing to record levels, and increased engagement through conferences, education, and outreach. Their work spans conservation projects, events, policy engagement, fundraising, and digital transformation, with every department contributing to shared goals. Highlights include record journal downloads, expanded international events, and conservation success in butterfly recovery.
By working seamlessly across functions and with external partners, the team has strengthened the Society’s reputation and advanced its mission to promote excellence in entomology.
