The 2025 entries demonstrated remarkable ambition, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the face of evolving delegate expectations and new event formats.


Whether delivering celebrations of success, thought-leadership forums, or sector-defining summits, this year’s shortlisted entries showcase how expertly produced events continue to deliver lasting impact. A huge thank you to our judging panel, who had the challenging task of selecting finalists from such a strong and diverse pool of submissions.


Below is a breakdown of the shortlisted entries for the Best Event Management Award:


British Chiropractic Association

Chiro Live 2024: Moving Beyond Pain combined strategic planning, innovative programming, and a strong focus on delegate experience.


The event offered diverse learning opportunities, interactive workshops, and integrated sponsor sessions, while embedding inclusivity, wellbeing, and sustainability throughout, delivering a highly engaging and professionally enriching experience.





Institute of Internal Communication

The 2024 IoIC Festival delivered an innovative and engaging experience for internal communication professionals, with multi-stream sessions, immersive learning, and tailored networking opportunities.


Careful planning, inclusivity measures, and agile operational management supported a valuable and enriching experience for all attendees.




Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining

The FEMS Junior EUROMAT 2024 conference, hosted by IOM3, delivered an inclusive and transformative experience for students and early-career professionals in materials science.

With innovative programming, creative networking initiatives and strong collaboration with academic and international partners, the event overcame logistical challenges and created lasting value for delegates.




NASUWT – The Teachers’ Union

The NASUWT flagship conference combined hybrid accessibility, sustainable design, and digital-first engagement.


Through real-time content capture, enhanced delegate apps, and wellbeing-focused spaces, the event delivered a seamless, inclusive, and impactful experience for members and stakeholders.






Royal College of General Practitioners – Entered by Wonderly

Wonderly delivered a personalised and sustainable RCGP conference, introducing plant-based catering, carbon emissions tracking, and tailored programme streams to enhance delegate choice and networking.


Operational agility, stakeholder engagement, and revenue management supported an inclusive, high-quality experience for delegates.




STEP

STEP’s Private Client Awards have become the Oscars of the Trusts and Estates. As they mark the 20th anniversary of the awards, STEP continues to innovate by introduced a digital platform that streamlined judging, entries, and event logistics while improving accessibility.


These changes enhanced operational efficiency, engagement, and inclusivity, creating a more accessible and well-managed experience for delegates and judges.





The Best Event Management Award recognises organisations that combine creativity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to deliver events providing meaningful value to delegates and their wider sectors.
