Axia Digital; Our offer to Professional and membership bodies.

We build sites that are designed to enable individuals to capture evidence of their skills, that are normally demonstrated and assessed in a professional/work-based setting. Below are some of the benefits we offer;

  • Our sophisticated platform enables us to control who can see and do what and when depending on their role and the group to which they belong. We then create a comprehensive audit trail of all these interactions.

  • This platform is highly configurable and has successfully been used to meet all our customers specific requirements.

  • All our sites are both bespoke and ‘off the shelf’ because we use already developed code, albeit reconfigured to meet the specific requirements of individual customers. This also means we develop sites quickly.

  • We have a long-standing track record of successfully working with ‘blue-chip’ organisations and agencies.

  • Consequently, we know the standards we are required to meet, particularly in relation to the management of data. We are accredited to ISO9001 and ISO27001.

  • Our ability to build effective working relationships with our customers is evidenced by the longevity of many of the contracts we hold.

  • All our sites are built mobile-first and we have a strong track record of being able to integrate with other system.

Case Study

This site in common with all our sites has two key sections. An evidence section where practitioners gather evidence and link it to competencies and the application section which allows the user to select the relevant evidence.

The illustration below is of a typical ‘Evidence’ template. As the user is creating evidence they select ‘insert competence reference’ and this link then appears in their evidence.

When ‘insert competence reference’ is selected; the framework that appears is controlled by the ‘group’ to which someone belongs.

External users can be invited to sign off evidence by email.

Highlighted in yellow is the invite comment the applicant can leave when inviting the reviewer (this can be anything they want).

When the reviewer then accesses the review page with the link at the bottom of the invite email, they would see this. The message that a peer/work- based assessor receives depends on the type of evidence they have been asked to review:

The Competence Evidence Matrix on the home page of the site is automatically populated to ensure that the practitioner can review the progress they are making.

By selecting ‘insert evidence reference’ the user can make links to evidence in the body of their application/report.

New development; Skills Passports

This site was initially developed for the Intensive Care Units in the London hospitals to help them assess staff during the Pandemic and this approach is now being used in other contexts. On the site there are two Skills Passports.

When a Passport is selected the following view appears. All content is one click away. It allows the user to work through the passport at their own pace.

Those users who want to develop other skills can access e-learning resources.
