Memcom Awards Guest Host Announcement

We are delighted to announce that stand-up comedian Lucy Porter will be hosting the Memcom Excellence Awards on 26th September.

Lucy has been making people laugh with her upbeat, feel-good comedy for more than two decades. As well as being a regular fixture at comedy festivals around the world, she has appeared on TV favourites Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Would I Lie to You, and Have I Got News for You. With trademark wit and charm, Lucy makes radio listeners chuckle on the News Quiz and Just a Minute.  

Lucy describes herself as an ‘amateur quiz fiend.’ She has been a contestant on Celebrity Pointless and became Mastermind Celebrity Champion of Champions in 2021, having chosen Victoria Wood as her specialist subject. Alongside The Chase’s Jenny Ryan, Lucy hosts a podcast called ‘Fingers on Buzzers,’ dedicated to the pair's favourite quiz shows past and present.
