Sarah has been managing director of Century One Publishing since 2012.
Since that time, Sarah has focused on the commercial success of member magazines and multi-platform selling to advertisers. She has also introduced design and content best practice more typically used on newsstand titles and business–to–consumer media to Century One’s approach. This is in recognition of the the need to compete more compellingly for members’ attention in an increasingly media-saturated world.
Sarah believes print magazines remain the anchor of creating value around membership, but has led on developing white label tools such as jobs boards, CPD and member apps to complement traditional member engagement tools and support multi-platform advertising sales.
Sarah began her career in telephone sales at Mirror Group Newspapers in the days of the infamous Robert Maxwell. She then moved on to working, via The Register Group, to Maiden Outdoor (now Clear Channel).
