Associations Week 2021

Celebrating the work of professional associations and the people, employees and volunteers at the heart of the organisations.

Associations Week is an initiative started by association leader Lee Davies in 2017, to shine a spotlight on the work of professional associations and to celebrate the people, employees and volunteers who make associations work. The association sector is a global unsung story - and we have a mission to change that through Associations Week.

In collaboration with memcom, this year Associations Week will be held 27-30 September and the highlight will be the 2021 memcom excellence awards, which will celebrate award-winning innovation, individuals and teams within the association sector.

2021 marks the fourth year that Associations Week has run and we’re hoping to build on the success of previous years, since arguably there has never been a more pressing time to celebrate a sector which contributes so much to the global economy. And this year, we’re going global, inviting organisations from around the world to participate and share their learning.

From international networking events such as coffee talks and a pivot fest, through to specific workstreams tackling issues of global importance such as sustainability and EDI, there is something for everyone in this year's Associations Week, and all completely FREE.

This year's event will be hosted on Swapcard, the virtual event platform, where you will be able to register for individual sessions, watch on-demand content and network with other attendees and sponsors. To see details on how to access the event, click here.
