This year’s entries demonstrated remarkable ambition, creativity, and attention to detail – particularly in navigating evolving delegate expectations and new event formats.

Whether celebrating achievements, convening thought-leaders, or creating sector-defining summits, the shortlisted entries for the Best Celebration Event Award have showcased how expertly produced events continue to deliver lasting impact.

A huge thank you goes to our judging panel, who faced the unenviable challenge of selecting finalists from such an outstanding pool of submissions.

Here’s a brief look at their standout contributions;

Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

The 2024 CIPD People Management Awards set a new benchmark for professional celebration events. Designed to spotlight excellence in HR, L&D, and OD, the ceremony combined tradition with innovation, introducing sustainability-driven menu choices, more inclusive drinks offerings, and a live band that transformed the evening atmosphere.

With record-breaking entries, strong sponsor engagement, and exceptional satisfaction scores, the event reinforced CIPD’s mission to champion better work and working lives while elevating the people profession on a national stage.

Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers – Entered by Redactive

The CIBSE Building Performance Awards go beyond celebration, spotlighting organisations that are actively reducing carbon emissions and shaping a sustainable built environment.

With record entry numbers, high-profile hosts, and a strong focus on measurable impact, the awards not only honour achievement but also share best-practice case studies with tens of thousands of professionals, helping to drive progress towards net zero while generating significant reinvestment for CIBSE’s wider mission.

Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management – Entered by Redactive

The IWFM Impact Awards stood out for their trailblazing commitment to sustainability, becoming fully carbon-neutral and embedding ESG principles across every aspect of delivery.

From a plant-based menu and reduced emissions to record sponsorship and glowing attendee feedback, the event showcased how large-scale celebrations can be both commercially successful and environmentally responsible while uniting the profession in recognition.

Logistics UK

Now in its eighth year, the Logistics UK Awards 2024 celebrated industry-wide excellence with record entries, a refreshed category line-up, and the event’s largest-ever audience.

From high-profile entertainment and creative social engagement that reached millions online, to meaningful charity partnerships and a strong networking atmosphere, the awards cemented their reputation as the sector’s premier end-of-year celebration, showcasing logistics as an innovative, resilient, and collaborative industry.

Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)

The RCSLT’s Dysphagia Dining Experience was a first-of-its-kind celebration, creating an inclusive restaurant-style event for people with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties. In partnership with Wiltshire Farm Foods, the event not only delivered a joyful and dignified dining experience for attendees but also raised vital awareness of dysphagia and the role of speech and language therapists.

With overwhelmingly positive feedback and plans for future events, it demonstrated the power of celebration to break down barriers, inspire change, and foster true inclusion.

Institute of Leadership

The Leadership Awards 2024 distinguished itself by bringing leadership to life - not only as a one-night celebration, but as a catalyst for a global conversation that continues to grow. With over 170 nominations across ten categories and attendees from around the world, the event delivered an energetic, carefully crafted experience that celebrated achievement while building community.

Its impact extended far beyond the evening itself, amplifying the voices of winners and nominees across digital platforms and embedding the awards as a cornerstone of the Institute’s mission to champion leadership in all its forms.

The Best Celebration Event Award recognises the hard work and imagination that go into creating experiences which do more than just mark an occasion – they inspire lasting pride, connection, and ambition. Congratulations to all our finalists for raising the bar yet again.
